Join us on Monday, December 2nd at 7p.m., to meet acclaimed author and scholar, Dr. Maxim D. Shrayer! Author of over ten books, including "Waiting for America: A Story of Emigration," "Yom Kippur in Amsterdam" and "The World of Nabokov's Stories," Dr. Shrayer has been the recipient of a number of prestigious fellowships including the Guggenheim Fellowship, the Rockefeller Foundation and the National Endowment of the Humanities.
Dr. Shrayer is also considered one of the U.S.' leading Nabokovian scholars, and studied at Brown University and Yale University.
He will speak on Monday about his career as a writer, professor and his books, as well as his research on Russian emigrants in the U.S.
