We are pleased to invite you to lecture “The Sense of Sound: Inventing Music” by Terry Dame, which will take place on Monday, June 8, at 6 p.m. The lecture will focus on creative possibilities of the medium of sound, let the audience look at it from a designer’s perspective, and analyze the “physics and biology” of music.
Terry Dame is not just a musician, multi-instrumentalist and composer for film, theater and dance. She is also an engineer by training and an inventor by avocation, which get incorporated into Ms. Dame’s original interactive sensor-driven musical instruments that she constructs from found objects.
