To celebrate the end of National Poetry Month, please join us on Monday, April 25th at 6p.m. to hear a presentation by American Center Director, Kore Gleason, on one of her favorite poets, e.e. cummings. Despite Cummings' popularity in the U.S. in the 20th century, his changing of how we write/view poetry by using different techniques and placed punctuation, along with his trip to the Soviet Union in 1931, most Russians have never heard of this artist. You will learn more about his exciting life, travels, paintings and poems.
Be prepared to write some poetry of your own at this lecture as well!
