Author of "The Black History of the White House," Dr. Lusane from American University (Washington D.C.) will speak about the important history of African-Americans in the U.S. White House from its founding to the election of President Barack Obama.
Dr. Lusane teaches courses in comparative race relations, international relations and modern social movements. He is also a national columnist for the Black Voices syndicated news network. He is Co-Chair on several councils/boards, including U.S. Civil Society Committee and TransAfrica Forum Scholars Council.
