Join Emmy-nominated filmmaker Cynthia Lowen as she takes us behind the scenes in the making of NETIZENS, a feature documentary about women and online harassment.Making its debut at the Tribeca Film Festival this April, NETIZENS depicts three women whose lives are transformed by online harassment, bearing witness as they confront digital abuse and strive for equality and justice online.
Cynthia, who directed and produced the film, will be joined by Tina Reine, who is featured in the film; Tina is a Columbia Business School graduate and successful commodities trader, whose career was derailed when a former partner published numerous reputation-harming websites. In this watershed moment for gender equality, Cynthia and Tina will delve into their process working together and how this film speaks to the most pressing issues of our day.
