American Center invites you to join a new series of seminars on international relations theory and identity studies. Discussion topics will cover basic theories of International Relations, securitization, identity and nationalism studies, and provide evidence for practical application of the main topics. Three main phases will encompass: 1) theories, definitions, and abstract concepts; 2) practical applications; 3) cases and practiced application.
Students will be asked to participate in course discussions and case studies presented; they will also be responsible to share and teach what they learn. Recommended readings will be key points of discussion. The course aim will be for students to learn by personal exploration, lectures, and reinforcement of learning by teaching others.
