Calling all students! We have a special lecture on Monday, August 31, added just for you. Mikhail Skoptsov is an international undergraduate student majoring in Cinema Studies at the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University. He is home in his native Moscow for the summer, and will be visiting the American Center to talk about his experience at NYU. Mikhail knows first-hand all the issues that can arise when international students apply for university in the US and he will be discussing common questions about the application process and how to get in. What you don't often hear, though, are the other questions Mikhail will be addressing: How do you choose classes? How do you make friends? How do you balance studying and spending time with those new friends? Mikhail will talk about his experience with these and other questions international students encounter. Please note that the lecture will begin at 4pm.
