Having successfully completed work on “Wanted” as a VFX Supervisor, Dmitry was invited by Timur Bekmambetov, famous Russian film director, to build a new facility, with the main goal to handle high-profile studio projects. With a lot of advice from his mentor, Stefen Fangmeier, they created Bazelevs VFX, a company that runs Industrial Light&Magic’s key principles and procedures. New to Russian market, this management system has brought the next show, Universal’s “Black Lightning”. This has marked a new level of efficiency in the country.In 2011, Dmitry has become a partner and a head of Features division at Moscow-based Piastro VFX to work on major Russian titles, such as “Vysotsky”, “Legend #17” and “Metro”, and a Summit Entertainment title, “Step Up Revolution”. In 2013, Dmitry and core members of his team opened doors of a new facility, Green Light. Company’s main clients include Russian and U.S. studios (TriTe, Film Direction, Krasnaya Strela, Central Partnership, Enjoy-movies, 20th Century Fox, Universal, New Regency, Summit Entertainment, Universal Music Group, Warner Music).Green Light has quickly become a successfully growing company, providing A-class visual content for film industry, television, advertising, music industry, corporate projects and interactive new media.
