American literature is rich with fantasy and several of the most popular books in America are from this genre: “The Hobbit” and other novels by J.R.R. Tolkein, C.S. Lewis’ “The Chronicles of Narnia,” the “Twilight” books by Stephanie Meyer and the ever popular Harry Potter series by J.K. Rawlings.
Davidson L. Haworth is author of Dragon of Prali and Wizard of Prali, and is currently finishing the third novel of this trilogy. Haworth began writing at a young age – in second grade! – when he wrote scripts and arranged assemblies at his school to put on productions of his plays.
Haworth tried several professions before becoming a full-time writer – such as becoming a firefighter and ecologist and working on sports radio. He also performed in comedy improv (staging). He then worked at a large publishing company, after which he finally decided to write his books. The Dragon of Prali was released February 2010 and the second book. The Wizard of Prali, was released in September 2011 and in a couple of weeks was already on sale worldwide.
