The workshop is designed for young people who are starting their journey of developing and improving the skill for success.
Soft skills are the personal attributes, personality traits, inherent social cues, and communication abilities needed for success on the job. Soft skills characterize how a person interacts in his or her relationships with others.
In this workshop you will discover the world of soft skills through a presentation and discussion. You will learn what soft skills are, where to apply them, and how they can be beneficial in your everyday life. You will also get an understanding of the purpose of soft skills and of how to incorporate them into your life.
This online workshop will consist of the following:
- An introductory presentation defining soft skills;
- Getting familiar with several most important soft skills;
- Tips and life-hacks on how to apply soft skills to succeed;
A discussion of the importance and usefulness of soft skills in the modern world.
The workshop is led by Ekaterina Lezhneva, AMC volunteer and a proactive high school student, head of development in her student council.
